Waggology's Puppy School (June to July)

Service Description

This class is suitable for puppies up to 10 months old. Weekly sessions supporting new puppy owners to get their pups off to the best start. Training includes: - Focus on owner - Basic body language - Lead walking - Greeting politely - Magic Mat - Come when called - An introduction to grooming/ maintenance - Enrichment As well as other fun tricks and challenges along the way. Reward based training methods used to teach dogs the behaviours we want from them, in a fun and interactive way. Together we will work through exercises to progress your dog from responding to basic cues to offering reliable communication. Classes are 45 minutes long. Please note this course will have a 1 week break in the middle. Sessions will take place on the following dates: 4th June 11th June 18th June 2nd July 9th July 16th July **Waggology politely requests the use of a flat collar and/ or a well fitted, non tightening harness. The use of any corrective equipment such as slip leads, tightening headcollars, choke chains, e-collars or pet spray is not permitted.** For recall training, long lines are provided but can only be used on a harness for safety reasons. Your most important piece of equipment is your reward! Prepare a selection of high value, human grade training treats such as cooked meats and cheese, chopped into teeny pea sized pieces.
